Synopsis
Tristan is a forty-one-year-old man who lives in the basement of his father’s home. When his father dies unexpectedly, he must confront his fear of actually growing up. Struggling with an overwhelming sense of grief and trying to mend a broken relationship with his estranged younger brother, Malik, he tries to overcome his fears before they destroy him. One night, while he and his brother are having dinner, he sees the ghost of his father. At first, he doesn’t believe it, but his father communicates to him telling him that he and his brother must spread his ashes on top of a mountain. The main problem is that his brother Malik doesn’t see the ghost and refuses to do the fourteen-thousand-foot hike that is requiredfor the task. The next night Tristan figures out a way to get his brother to do the hike, but his plan might cost him their relationship. He must choose between fulfilling his father’s wishes/growing up or mending the broken relationship between he and his brother.
